Which telescopic pole length do you need?

Choose the telescopic window cleaner by the highest window you clean. A shorter pole is lighter and steadier, so buy the length you need, not the longest.

How a telepole works

Extend the lowest section first and lock each section as you go; a lock on every section holds the pole at any length. Fit a 35 cm washer to wet and scrub the glass, then swap to the squeegee to clear it. Only extend as far as the window needs: the shorter the pole, the more control you have.

Telescopic pole or water-fed pole?

A telescopic pole carries a squeegee and washer, so it cleans the traditional way, with soapy water, up to about the third storey. A water-fed pole feeds pure water to a brush instead: no squeegee, no soap, and the frames get rinsed too. For regular high or commercial work, the water-fed pole is faster and safer.

Do telescopic window cleaners work?

Yes, when the pole locks firmly and carries a proper squeegee and washer: you get the same streak-free result as by hand, from the ground. Cheap poles with a sponge-and-wiper head are fine for patio glass but struggle on upstairs windows.

How do you clean windows that are too high to reach?

Use a telescopic pole with a washer and squeegee, up to a 9 m pole for triple-storey glass, or a water-fed pole that scrubs and rinses with pure water while you stand on the ground.
