Why reverse osmosis water

Water under 10 ppm dries on glass without spots; South African tap water usually reads 50–300 ppm. Reverse osmosis removes 95–98% of those minerals, so you clean without detergent and without leaving marks. Test the output with a TDS meter.

For site work where you need pure water on the spot, the reverse osmosis water trolley delivers up to 6 litres a minute without a pump. A reverse osmosis plant is also part of the 6 m and 9 m waterfed pole kits.

1030 L/day RO system: questions

How much pure water does it make?

Up to 1,030 litres in 24 hours, about 43 litres an hour.

Do I need a tank?

Yes. The system fills a holding tank; you decant from it into the 15 litre pump or feed your pole from the tank.

RO or DI resin?

RO costs more up front and almost nothing to run; DI resin is cheaper to start but runs out by volume. See the comparison guide below.
