Single Storey Window Cleaning Kit: what’s included and who it suits

This single-storey window cleaning kit is built around a 4 metre telepole that closes to 2 metres and opens to 4 metres, so you can wash and squeegee single-storey windows from the ground. It also has a 35 cm window washer with sleeve, a 35 cm Pullex stainless-steel squeegee and a 15 litre bucket.

What’s in the Single Storey Window Cleaning Kit

1 × 4 m extendable telepole (closes to 2 m)
1 × 35 cm window washer with sleeve
1 × 35 cm Pullex stainless-steel squeegee
1 × 15 litre bucket (colour may vary)

Who the single storey window cleaning kit is for

Single-storey houses, including the high panes above doors and gable windows at the top of a single-storey wall, and tall ground-floor shopfronts. It closes to 2 m, so it fits in most car boots.

Using and caring for the single storey window cleaning kit

Extend the telepole only as far as the window needs and lock each section; the 2 m closed length fits in most car boots. Wash the glass first, then squeegee in overlapping strokes from the top down. Wipe the rubber between strokes.

Rinse the squeegee, washer sleeve and bucket in clean water after each job and let them dry before packing the kit away. The Pullex rubber is cut on both edges, so turn it over when the working edge wears; when both edges are worn, replace it with the 71 cm Pullex rubber. Collapse the telepole fully before carrying it, and lock each section before you lift it to the glass.

Single Storey Window Cleaning Kit: questions

What is the difference between this kit and the 4 Metre Window Cleaning Kit with Spares?

Both kits use the same 4 m telepole, squeegee, washer and bucket. The 4 Metre Window Cleaning Kit with Spares adds a spare 35 cm washer sleeve and a 71 cm Pullex replacement rubber, so you can keep working when the first sleeve or rubber wears out.

Is a 4 m pole long enough for a single-storey house?

Yes. The telepole opens to 4 m and locks at any length from 2 m up, which is what we recommend for single-storey buildings. For higher glass, see the kit comparison above.

Can I buy replacement parts later?

Yes. The 35 cm washer sleeve, 71 cm Pullex rubber and 35 cm Pullex squeegee are all sold separately.
